Psychotherapist Dylan Bucenec, LSW
My name is Dylan Bucenec, and I am a licensed social worker for the state of New Jersey. I learned my master’s degree in social work from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2018. I have worked directly with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, adolescents, adolescents with developmental disabilities, and young children. I have additional experience in partial care and residential settings of care.
As a therapist, I like to take a person-centered approach. I enjoy working with the client, drawing upon their strengths and experiences, and coming up with achievable strategies to help them. I always work with the client at their pace and in a way that is comfortable for them. I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am experienced in working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship or parenting issues, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and peer relationships. By helping clients learn coping mechanisms and reframing negative thought processes, I empower clients to sustain long-lasting positive change, emotional wellness, and a sense of stability.
